Disney World!

My lovely mother-in-law Sally brought us all along on a wonderful week-long trip to Disney World this past week. It was EXTREMELY cold there, but well worth the trip. The only downer was Saturday night we went to eat at the German restaurant at Epcot and the moment we sat down Christina threw up all over herself and some on me. Needless to say neither of us ate dinner and we went back to the hotel pretty quickly. The girls and I stayed at the hotel the rest of the next day (tried to go out but Christina threw up on the bus), but we made it to Fantasmic that night. Abby got sick another day, and so did Shawn, and finally Willy and his girlfriend Chrissy on our last day there. Fortunately it was a quick stomach flu and everyone got over it quickly.

We stayed at the Animal Kingdom Loge Kidani Village and it was amazing! We could see animals outside our room!

I think my favorite moment of the whole trip was on the very first day, we had been at Magic Kingdom for like 15 min. and we headed to Adventure Land and saw that Lilo and Stitch were out signing autographs and taking pictures. We got in line and Christina was so excited to see them she was crying the whole time in line cause she didn't understand that we had to wait our turn. Once we got up there, Lilo and Stitch both knelt down and Christina RAN to Lilo and gave her a huge hug! It was a cutest thing ever! She was so happy. Abby had a similar moment, we saw Woody and Jesse (from Toy Story) and Abby, who doesn't even know who Jesse is (cause she hasn't seen the 2nd movie), ran up to her and gave her a hug for like 2 min!! Then she wouldn't even hardly look at Woody, too cute. :)
All in all, we had a blast regardless of the setbacks and are eternally grateful to Sally for bringing us along. :)

Christmas/New Year

I can hardly believe it 2010!! This year Abby will turn 3, Christina will turn 2, we'll make a trip to DisneyWorld and hopefully we'll be able to make a trip to Montana. But, whatever this year brings we are excited!
Christmas was quite busy and a lot of of fun. We started the day at home with a few presents for the girls....they got various things from puzzles, to new games and even their first play-houses. They were pretty excited all morning. We then trucked off to my Grandma's house to see them and a few cousins. We had a blast, got some new things and played a few games. I think everyone's favorite was the magnifier. We were looking at our skin and scrapes and cuts and the carpet...lots of weird fun. :)
From there we made the drive to Shawn's aunt's house to see his family and we had dinner and opened a few more gifts! By the end of the day the girls were a little worn out and more than a little excited to play with all their new toys. Little do they know that I hid a few of those new things so that hopefully I can keep them happy on the long plane ride to Florida next week! That was our big (and pretty much only) present from Shawn's mom this year: a family vacation to Disney World. We are soooooooo excited.
Sorry I don't have any pictures yet, but I'll get to them....and you can be sure I'll have tons from Disney (I bought a new camera yesterday as my Christmas present to myself)! Happy New year, and may it be blessed and better than last year!
